Terms and Conditions: Win A$10,000 of fine art

1. Information on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry to the competition is via the online entry form. Participants will be asked to submit their name and contact details to be eligible to enter. The entry form will be available via the Smith & Hall website www.smithandhall.com.au. There will also be links to this entry form via banner advertisements on other websites and email campaigns.
2. Multiple entries are not accepted and will be discounted.
3. Entry is open to all Australian residents. A single entry will be randomly selected for the prize. The first name selected will win.
4. By submitting an entry, the entrant is acknowledging that the competition is subject to the conditions outlined. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for invalid, delayed or lost entries.
5. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoters and their associated agencies and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the competition. Inaudible or incomprehensive entries will also be ineligible.
6. The competition commences on 15 September 2008. The competition concludes on 31 March 2009 at 9am.
7. The prize consists of art valued at AUS $10,000 including GST. The art maybe selected by the winner from any art piece listed with Smith & Hall. If the selected art is valued more than the prize, than the winner must contribute the difference in value. The art may not be put into the art rental program. Delivery and installation of the art is not included in the prize.
8. Once the winner is drawn, the decision is final. Prize cannot be transferred and cannot be varied. Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. The winner has six months from the drawn date to claim their prize. Smith & Hall will not honour the prize after this six month period.
9. All entries become the property of the Promoters. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and /or the Promoters sponsors/agent may use the entrants' names and contact details for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. The entrants are aware that by entering the competition they will benefit from the promotional information and vouchers/discounts possibly communicated to them from Smith & Hall at any time.
10. The draw will take place on 31 March 2009 at 2pm at the Promoter’s offices at 129 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills 2010. The winner will be randomly selected from a computer database.
11. Smith & Hall will retain the prizes until they are claimed by the winner. In the event that they are unclaimed three months after the drawing of the lottery, after consultation with the Minister, further draws may be conducted for the disposal of unclaimed prizes. Should this be necessary, the Promoters shall conduct any necessary further draws at 129 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills 2010 on 10 July 2009 at 10am. This additional draw may be needed in order to distribute the prize if unclaimed.
12. The winner will be notified by email and telephone on 31 March 2009 at 3pm. The winners name will be published on the Smith & Hall website on 31 March 2009 for one month. The winners name will be published in The Australian newspaper on Friday 3 April 2009.
13. The Promoter will keep records of the competition once it is completed for three years at the premises that it was drawn detailing how people entered the competition, when/how drawn was done and the details of the winner and a description of the prize.
14. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing. All prizes are in Australian Dollars. The Promoters reserve the right to change the prize if it becomes unavailable.
15. In an event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take the prize at the time stimulated by the Promoter then the winner will forfeit the prize and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
