In 1984, Walala and eight other relatives of the Pintupi Tribe became famous around the globe when they walked out of the Western Desert and made contact with Australian Western society for the first time.
Now, we are delighted to bring together works from Walala and his two brothers, all notable painters.

STOP PRESS: The opening night will feature a guest performance by Charlie McMahon, the world famous Didjeridu player who encountered the Lost Tribe in 1984, accompanied by Anatoli Torjinski on cello. Charlie has recorded and performed with leading musicians such as Keith Urban, Midnight Oil, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and many others. On Thursday 18th February, he will be playing for us and bringing to life the day he fell into the history books when he met the Pintupi Nine.
