Smith & Hall invites you to view “Earth Tones”, a new collection of work by Indigenous artists Yinarupa Nangala (Telstra Art Award category winner), Tatali Napurrula and Mavis Napaltjarri.
These female artists all hail from the Australian Western Desert and their work displays all the classic elements of Central & Western Desert art. Their artwork expresses the stories and traditions of their country in a recognised Indigenous painting style. Tatali and Yinarupa are both well established Papunya Tula artists with Mavis a bright new emerging star.
