I grew up in the Lockhart River and I now have two children there a boy and a girl.
I began painting quite a few years ago. I really like painting it was my favorite subject at whilst at school. My paintings are about our traditional way, they are about the rivers. The Pascoe River is a magical and very important in place in our tradition. There are four clan groups from that river at the start of the river to where it meets the ocean. At the top of the river is the possum clan, in the middle are the rainbow and crocodile clans and at the bottom on the ocean side of the river is the Morning Star clan. Those are the four totems at the river for each clan. My totem is the Morning Star.
